Areas of Interest (AOI)
We are currently accepting concepts for the following therapeutic areas. BMS periodically opens RFP Cycles across different therapeutic areas and the pre-concept submission periods will be posted below when available. We strongly encourage all applicants to begin the online application process early to allow adequate time for completion. For a submission to qualify for review, all information including any required uploads must be submitted through the application form prior to the specified end dates for the RFP Cycle.

- Demographics (e.g., ethnicity, race, Fitzpatrick IV-VI skin types)
- Body regions
- Disease burden (w/comorbidities)
- Psoriasis treatments (e.g., systemic treatment naïve, switching from topical therapy, switching from other oral systemic therapies, systemic treatment vs topical treatment)
- Additional measures of response (e.g., patient satisfaction, other Patient-Reported Outcomes)
- Clinical and biomarker proof-of-concept evidence with deucravacitinib in other dermatological immune-mediated diseases with pathophysiological involvement of TYK2-mediated pathways
- Non-clinical studies furthering the understanding of the role of TYK2 in immune mediated diseases

Ozanimod UC AOIs RFP#2 2023
- Efficacy and safety of ozanimod in moderate to severe ulcerative colitis
- Examples include speed of onset of clinical benefit, durability of clinical benefit, corticosteroid-sparing effects, patient reported outcomes and quality of life, assessment in populations of high unmet need (e.g., those under-represented in RCTs), and effects on symptoms not routinely evaluated in UC, including EIMs; in addition to other topics.
- Ozanimod effect on biomarkers in UC
- Examples include the application of biomarkers on in understanding disease course/activity, prediction of treatment response, disease activity monitoring in routine clinical practice, and correlation with clinical outcomes; in addition to other topics.
- Projects that evaluate the functional consequences of ozanimod treatment on immune cell populations and epithelial cells are of interest.
- Ozanimod mechanism of action in UC pathophysiology and/or mucosal immune homeostasis
- Unmet medical needs in patients with UC
- Examples include therapy adherence, patient reported outcomes and quality of life, applicability of mucosal healing in routine clinical practice to monitor disease activity and treatment response; in addition to other topics.
