Page Properties

Each page has a few properties to define the appearance but also to define the major information what is a page about.

The page entities are:

  • Page-Type
  • Title
  • Headline
  • Subline / Excerpt
  • Image (resource)
  • Card alternatives
    • Headline
    • Excerpt
    • Image
    • Link title
  • Topic* (topic-keyword)
  • Keywords* (list of keywords)
  • Author
  • Publish date

Some information like the Headline, image, and excerpt are show not only on the page but also on references to the pages, usually as "cards". To override the values shown on the card the optional values for “Card alternatives” come to use.

Page Types / Page Head

 

The page type determine the face of a page. The area below the main navigation and above the content area we call the "page head".

A page head consist of the page title, an excerpt and an image or an area with a colored background. Also part of the page head are the content utilities.

Available page types

  1. Image first
    A big image followed by the breadcrumb, the headline, the content utilities and the excerpt.
  2. Headline first
    On top the breadcrumb, followed by the headline, the content utilities and the excerpt, with the big image below.
  3. No Image
    The headline on top of a colored background, followed by the breadcrumb, the content utilities and the excerpt.
  4. Title Page
    A big image with full width with the headline on top of it, the content utilities and the excerpt. A Title page does not have a breadcrumb.
